At Avidia, we like to keep things fresh and simple. That’s why we recently took a closer look at our personal accounts and made some changes to better meet the evolving needs of our customers. Our streamlined accounts and other changes are currently available to new Avidia customers in our branches.

 

What these changes mean to you

If you’re already an Avidia customer, these changes will be effective either March 15, 2024 or March 29, 2024. To help you understand the impact on your accounts, we sent you information in the mail. But, if you want to review, here’s a quick summary of what’s new:

 

• Checking accounts. We’ve simplified and repositioned our checking accounts to make it easier for you to bank and find the account that’s right for your balances and your budget. Though all our accounts outlined below offer ways to waive maintenance fees, we’ll waive these fees for current customers the first 3 months if you need to consider your options.

 

• Avidia Free Checking – A basic account that offers no minimum balance and no monthly maintenance fee.
• Avidia Premier Checking – An average daily balance of $2,500 waives the $8 maintenance fee and gives you a $10 monthly ATM rebate.
• Avidia Premier Plus Checking – Get our highest level of banking services, including unlimited foreign ATM reimbursement, free 3” x 5”

safe-deposit box rental, and more with a combined (checking, savings, and money market) balance of $25,000 to waive the $25 monthly fee.

 

• Early Deposit. Tired of waiting for pay day to cover unexpected expenses? With early access to your direct deposit, you could get your pay up to 2 days early.

 

• Savings and money market accounts. We’ve changed the names of our savings and money market accounts and made a few minor changes:

 

• Avida Smart Savings will be renamed Avidia Free Savings. (No minimum balance and no monthly maintenance fee.)
• Avidia Personal Money Market will become Avidia Premier Money Market and Max Money market will become Avidia Premier Plus Money Market.
• All savings accounts will offer a single, non-tiered rate while money market accounts will move to a non-blended tiered rate.

No matter, which account you have, you’ll still enjoy the convenience of free online and mobile banking. And speaking of online and mobile banking, be on the lookout for some exciting enhancements coming this Spring to help you gain even more control of your money.
